About Us:

National Llewellin Gun Dog Club

The National Llewellin Gun Dog Club (NLGDC) was formed in 1996 to promote FDSB registered Llewellin Setters by sponsoring and conducting field trials. The current format of the trials is walking shoot to retrieve and are restricted to FDSB registered Llewellin Setters only. It is through these trials that the abilities of the Llewellin Setter as both a hunting companion and field trial dog can be showcased. We encourage anyone who owns a FDSB registered Llewellin Setter to become a member of the NLGDC and participate in the trials.

Inquiries with respect to joining the NLGDC should be directed to the NLGDC Membership Page or contact an officer of the club at NLGDC Officers page.
